Day at the Races, Royal Windsor (06.23)

It may not have been Royal Ascot (held later in the same week), but Philip had a great time at Royal Windsor Racecourse this week, meeting with friends and colleagues in a relaxed and fun setting, with the odd horse jogging past our hospitality suite. Catering aside, here some take-away nuggets for you:

• Many personnel changes afoot within the real estate advisory space, clues in the following acronym soup: AYBNPCBRECWJLL.
• Bankers are still cautious (expecting higher levels of equity from borrowers), but still keen to lend (refinancing is busy).
• Architects are going strong with new builds and refurbs here and overseas (headwinds, what headwinds?).
• Well-bred folk know their horses.
